Anyone else run into this on the forum?

About 80% of the time, when I go to the "(more)" smilies, the one I am looking for has suddenly disappeared as an option.

Other times the "definition", ie. "ROFLMAO" is there, but it is beside a different smilie. If I click on it, I get the wrong smilie (the same one that shows up on the list) when I preview.

I think it is incredibly coincidental that they might be adding smilies at EXACTLY the time that I want one.

When I go back later, the right smilie is there again.

Anyone else run into this?

I've never had one missing, but I do have days where it seems to take me forever to find the one I was looking for. It seems that they move around a little bit.

Those smiles seem to tease me sometimes with a game of hide 'n seek :D

same here cherie none gone but does take me time to find them
I have notice the :Bang-Head: is on the right side and next time it will be on left

I have noticed they move around when used. always have done. seems to be a feature of the software.
they never disappear....just move....

maybe smilies like to party :D

Maybe we have a witch!!

I've noticed it too, but in my case, it seems directly correlated with stretching the window that pops up. If I make it too small or too large, some of them shift sides.

For ones that I use often, I copied the code to a sticky note and just copy and paste to use them.

I have! and drives me nuts! I don't use them as often as I used too. To much of a pain to wait for the "more" window to come up. I use what is on the page and that's about it.

I try to memorize them to avoid looking for them. I searched like the dickens the other day for the waving Hi guy. It took me forever! Maybe it's their way of teaching us a little basic html? hahaha

It is a PIA to search for just the right little Emo booger, but you all are worth it..:D

Well, the other day I was looking for ROFLMAO, and I couldn't find the smilie for it. I figured I'd check the descriptions (listed beside each smilie), cause maybe I just missed the smilie itself. I found the "ROFLMAO" description, but the smilie beside it was wrong (it showed a yellow happy-face-type smilie, with a big grin). I clicked on it anyway, then previewed my message . . . and sure enough the happy-face-type smilie showed up on my posting, not the ROFLMAO.

That was the first time that happened though.

Usually the smilie I am looking for is completely missing. All of a sudden, I can't see the smilie . . . so then I scan the descriptions too. The smilie is no-where to be found, and trust me, I've had my kids even look for it when I can't see it. :p

A few hours later, I find it back again.

I am going to take a picture of the screen the next time. :D

Thanks, Cherie

:ROTFLMAO:

here..copy and paste. :p

if your computer is running slow and cookies need to be cleared, the actions on the more window may not be showing up. you may just see the unrolling smiley.
