Wow I am THRILLED to the BONE!
 

You guys will not believe this. I updated Cyber-Soup because a lot of people are going to be hitting it over the next week or two because something awesome is happening. I can't say what, yet, but it's made my week & month! :eek:

The good that will be done from this humble deed I am undertaking will be immense. I pray that it will get the word out about Mirror Therapy and helping countless people here in the area I live in. It's definitely going to be difficult to get through this considering my high anxieties and mania, but I am going to do the best I can and MAKE something fabulous happen. :grouphug:

I will post WHAT is going on AFTER it happens and I can leave a link to it in this thread. It's happening Thursday, and I will hopefully be able to look back on that afternoon with pride that I handled myself properly and let myself convey the messages of strength, courage and hope. :D

It's gonna be on TV, local news here AND in the newspaper! A story on how Mirror Therapy has virtually eliminated my Phantom Pain attacks! Yes I remember Chris! :D I am so happy! Fat of course, but happy! SO don't expect a slim in shape gal, I have a big gut and look pregnant but I'm not. I have to clean up my manicure and make it finished looking but other then that I am ready. :D

Now how exciting is this Pam. I can't hear the excitement in your voice. I hope this works out for you and you help other people who are going through the same thing. You're truly an inspiration :hug:

Thanks BJ! I am just tickled pink that things are working out so well with this, I am sure some people will be amazed at how really well this therapy works, I know I was! Hopefully it will get people off their backsides and into Therapy centers to get busy and make their pain go away. :D Tha'ts my goal! :D

I hope you don't mind Pam but when I couldn't sleep I was reading your Amputee Alley page. I feel stupid because I never knew and I apologize for that. You are amazing and I read where you said you have to put your heart into it and I'm sure you're giving it everything you have. And maybe it will give others hope too :hug:

Aww don't feel bad BJ, I don't mind talking about it obviously, but I also don't make a big issue about it most of the time so there really was no way for you to know unless you'd been to my site or see the threads on Mirror Therapy I posted recently. I am just so happy! I looked really fat sadly, but hey I am what I am and I am HAPPY so let the people decide what matters more, my weight or what I was saying, that this is a CURE for Phantom Pain! :D

I am really happy about it, you might think I didn't work hard in my therapy, but I did! I worked extra hard to make sure they got some great footage of it in action. THanks Mari! It's awesome, simply awesome to not have to worry about when the next pain is going to strike. I would love to lose the rest of my pain but I know I have to be realistic...LOL! It's just so good to not have these tazer like zapps from the phantom to worry about anymore. :D

You must be so excited not to be in so much pain. I got confused when I was watching it because of the mirror, then I realized what was going on. You looked so proud and you should be. :hug:

Thanks BJ! I am so proud to be able to be the messenger for other amputees, to learn that there is a way out of pain. It's why I allowed myself to be taped at the weight I am at. To help other people, that is what I love to do and this was awesome! I went to the store earlier and got recognized repeatedly, it was fun! :D

Thanks for asking Mari, I am real tired, I haven't been using my CPAP machine and last night I wanted to and couldn't. My son had broken the hundred-fifty dollar mask which I won't be able to replace anytime soon. I will have to wait until Mom is done with her current mask and then take hers when her new one comes in. I was so angry last night I had a hard time falling asleep. He has no respect for anything and knows no boundaries, it's downright infuriorating at times. :(

Our appt this week went as expected, he's put on about ten pounds due to the last increase in medication. I just can't seem to lose weight myself or help Jackie to. I haven't been working out and I feel tired all the time from lack of CPAP use, and now I know there's no sign of that getting better anytime soon. *yawn* Oh well, it's my fault for not keeping the lockbox LOCKED, I figured he'd stopped messing with it but he hadn't. A costly mistake....*Sigh* it's so damn hard to put up with all this chaotic destruction and obsession with turning usable items INTO garbage. :(

oh pammy, that does sound frustrating...
wish you could sleep better sooner than later.

Luck was on my side! Mother had one already just sitting there! Halleluia! I slept great last night and I am tired but not exhausted like I have been feeling. Now it went directly into the lock box and got the padlock on it immediately. :)

I wish it was easier for you to sleep Mari, I understand it's elusive for you to fall asleep, I used to have more trouble before I started on trazadone but that has helped a lot as has the Cpap, if I can just keep using it I will be better and happier in the long run. :)

You're right Donna, I am really thankful she had it, I didn't think she did yet because they only replace them after like every 6 months. And I was sure it hadn't been enough time yet but it was. I sleep so much better with it, but I miss my nose mask, I have to save up somehow and pay it off and save up for a new one maybe by Christmas so as long as I can keep this one intact until then I will be fine. :)
