Chat gone wild...

There are 25 people in the chat room tonight, and when I join them not a peep is uttered/typed - there is complete and utter silence.
Have I been put on everyone's ignore list?
Or is it my computer?
Or what?
I hope this is the right place to put this question?
It is a cold and sad feeling to join 25 people and one one responds to a friendly hello.
A sad and ignored birte

Not to worry, BEMM, the new software has been randomly throwing usernames into the chat list. Doc has been working on it.

One night, I was in chat and I didn't even know it! LOL, he's working on it.:)

I go to the chat room of my favorite band.
Same thing happens there.
When I asked about it, nobody had an answer.

I have alerted Doc and we had a thread on social chat recently on this

it seems that if you go into flashchat and then dont sign out when you leave, it keeps your name logged as "in".

at present the only way to cure this is for members to sign out of the chatroom (lil red button on top) when they leave, but Doc is checking on a fix

Chemar 09-08-2008 07:39 AM

oh and PS

one doesnt have to log in to NT to enter the chat...just log in to chat....so that is why some show as IN when not showing logged on here

very confusing yup:Crazy 2:

vini 09-08-2008 08:11 AM

me too

me t@@ I was there last night alisden was in the room but didn't respond perhaps we should sign out coz it may think we are in the room ( the computer that is ) if we don,t sign out ??? it would be nice to live chat ...k@@ky

Chemar 09-08-2008 10:35 PM

seems to be fixed now :)

Has anyone heard from BEMM? I hope they didn't feel so hurt that they left.

BEMM, if you see this it's a computer glitch, not you at all.
