Update on Little Caden - Prayers Still Needed
 

Just wanted to give you all an update on little Caden. . .

As of now, he is still in the hospital fighting the infections. We are still praying for a miracle for this poor little baby. The rare blood disorder in combination with a rare metabolic disorder is still causing chaos in this little guy.

The infectious blood clots keep causing the fevers and such. They are still in hopes that he will fight this so that they can do the stem cell transplant.

Please keep him in your prayers as well as the family.

Dear Little Caden is in my prayers. :smileypray: May the dear Lord pull him through this and back to wellness. :hug:

They have no idea only that it is rare, it is some type of metabolic disease as well as a blood disease.

Cherie - Here is a link to a bit of background on Caden as well as his family. They have suffered so much loss. Now Caden doesn't have what his sister and brother had (the 2 that died). In fact, all three of the kids don't have the same thing. The 2 oldest kids are healthy and doing well despite what they have been through (losing 2 siblings and now another that is so sick). Their strength as a family as well as a couple is so amazing as well as an inspiration.

As for the mom and the melanoma, I did forget to ask about her yesterday so I have no update on her.:o

What a horrible ordeal they've all gone through. :eek:

Isn't it odd that all three of the young ones have been unwell, while the older two have been fine. :confused: Did they move during that time? Are they being exposed to toxic mold or something?

My heart goes out to the family, and prayers for Caden. :hug:
