the 5:00 am club update

Well, another day is here and apparently is starting EARLY. I woke at 5 and couldn't go back to sleep.

Since I am now living alone I no longer have to lay in bed until it is a decent time to get up, I got up, went to the kitchen to get a coke (FDW ((former dear wife)) took the coffee maker) and am in my recliner watching the episode of "judge judy" I taped yesterday. I know it is a stupid show but it makes me laugh.

Pain level is probably what woke me up, it's hight today (and everyday lately)

I gotta go to good will to get a coffee maker today.

Now what to have for breakfast, Probably a bowl of cereal.

You let her take the coffee machine:yikes: sorry just funnin ya.. You may find some of the adjustments to your liking, so hang in there Earl, but by all means Man get that java machine before you offset the balance of the Java gods, Earl have you tried the game forum, its a good way to spend time and some of those games actually make you think I do this when i got the insomnia real bad at night. Lot of us have been where you are including me I raised two babies on my own till i remarried ten yrs later so if any time you need some one to vent to or just talk do not hesitate

We got a classic rock station here in Houston that has a "5:30 club". Every 5:30 am, they play the 5:30 club song - to the tune of Highway to He77 by AC/DC.

Sing along...

I'm in the 5 thirty club... I'm in the 5:30 club...

I'm pulling into work at about that time every morning.

how are you doing? been busy Sassy?

sassy 10-08-2008 07:39 AM

busy, and not feeling real good. I started Avonex a couple weeks ago, 1/4 dose and it is still not treating me too nicely.

Frank, as you know the Copaxone wasn't treating me too nicely either, we both had that goofy IPIR. It was Rebif before that, maybe I'm just not meant to be on a DMD. I am going to give Avonex a chance tho as long as I can.

And, you? How's it going?

weegot5kiz 10-08-2008 07:53 AM

still kicking here, sorry about the A is messing with you, doc is going to keep me on copaxone, no new lesions and between the Ldn and
C he feels i am about as safegaurded as can be

i went though this carp shoot yrs ago with my sons seizures, neverr thought i would be in a mix and match game with meds for myself, it is annoying to say the least

Good Thursday morning! Is everyone sleeping in this morning?

I have an appt to call a reporter of our local newspaper this morning. He wants to interview a local person with MS about proposal 2, which in Michigan is for the passage of a law to use embryonic stem cells for research.

I hope I am able to relate correctly how I feel and I hope if I do that I am quoted correctly.

There was good news in the newspaper about funding for the research. A Michigan man has sought to advance stem cell research on scientific and political fronts by announcing a 22 million-dollar donation to the U of M medical research institute. Former president Clinton will be promoting stem cell proposal 2 by appearing at a fundraiser. Tickets are listed at 500-2500 dollars, out of my budget. :(

Other than that nothing planned for the day.

I got through the interview mostly intact! I'll let you know what the article looks like after it is published.
