Your prayers requested please
 

I have wanted to post a prayer request here for a while now, but still dont even know where to begin as I have many so many urgent prayer needs at present.:o
But thank God that He knows it all already!
Yet, He still tells us to bring our prayer requests to Him and ask others to pray for and with us soooooo..............
here goes with the most important requests.......

most urgent is my husband who is very seriously ill. He has chronic sickness compounded by injuries, and seems to have lost the will to even try to seek further medical help. we also dont know if his insurance will cover the treatments being proposed.

His illness is not being helped by the major financial stress we are in with not just the current economic crunch, but also the recent loss of our primary source of income. I am maintaining the online stores and eBay but sales are waaaaay down over last year as everyone is cutting back on spending. This is usually my busiest period for holiday gift shoppers. Trying to find additional ways to bring in the $ but needless to say the state of economy isnt helping, especially with so many other folks looking for work too.

My prayers are with you and your husband. I am so sorry he's sick and you are watching him get discouraged. I am sorry the insurance issues are hanging over your head.

God will lead you as he lead us here for you. May he keep you in his loving arms and may he give your husband the will to keep going even when it seems like there is no answers. :hug:

I am so very sorry. Your post is concerning to me on a number of levels.
I do hope that at the very least your husband would consider seeking medical information here or on line. Sometimes doctors need a little push to try different things themselves and in a gentle way he can offer off information he finds to their attention. In addition, prayer for ourselves and those of others can only help. I do think studies prove this to be the case. So, it is wonderful that you have asked. Please keep pushing forward. And keeping all this in mind, I have just said a special and powerful prayer for you and your spouse.

we are seeing a glimmer of light in the tunnel as we heard on Friday that the venue where most of our income came from will be re-opening for 2 months(Nov/Dec) in the old format and then in a new format as of Jan 2009, so we are hopeful that will help alleviate the financial woes some, tho being realistic about the economic scenario at present and so also exploring other avenues

my hubby is still not doing well:( but at least now under care of a specialist that we are impressed with so I am hopeful...more extensive tests have been ordered and he will be further evaluated Nov 13th after those results are in to discuss treatment options.
