very nice Sally that will make it a lot easier, and a lot safer compared to no ramp. I like it looks to a fair size ramp, congrats

SandyC 10-25-2008 11:58 AM

Very cool. But, where are the pics of the handy men?

Riverwild 10-25-2008 12:58 PM

Oh Sal,

Seeing the new ramp made me smile, but the post about not being able to get out to your screened in patio since 2004 brought tears to my eyes.

I am so happy for you being able to go back out there again!:hug:

Gazelle 10-25-2008 01:07 PM

That's awesome, Sally! I'm really happy for you.

But SHAME on you for no eye candy pics. ITA with Karen--you should have made them pose with you. :D

SandyC 10-25-2008 02:24 PM

The handyman can 'cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good...

Twinkletoes 10-25-2008 11:47 PM

Nice, uh, ramp, Sally.

Oooh!!! Now that you can get to your patio, whatcha going to do there?

So happy for you! :)

Dejibo 10-26-2008 09:00 AM

Sweet ramp! I am so happy that you can get out to your patio! woo!

My mom added those stairway rough things to hers. it gave her little grip spots in several spaces all the way up or down. I loved that idea, but yours is inside, and wont matter.

Way to go! makes living in your house fun again huh?

charlie w 10-26-2008 09:08 AM

Looks sweet!!! You must have a hugh garage. Did y'all self build it or someone build it 4 you? I have been living in my house 4 6 yrs and am too cheap to pay to have one built outta the back patio door and off the patio.

DM 10-26-2008 09:43 AM

WOWEE! KEWL Sal! I am tickled for you. Anything to make life easier is a good thing. Don't let her fool ya people~ it was probably a bunch of refrigerator repairmen doing the work. *grin*

You go Sal~~ nothing stopping you now.

SallyC 10-26-2008 11:06 AM

My DD came over today with Grands in tow and tryed to teach dumb doggy to go up and down the ramp. He did it twice, all by hisself..:D

Now, of course, he won't do it for me...the little twirp..:p I'll keep trying...sheesh.

Charles, I had a couple of contractors do the job..:)

Dejibo, If I decide to paint it, I will add those non skid thingys.....good idea, thanks.:)

LOL, Dm...:D

UPDATE 2:30 EST: Pal went out by himself, just now...YEAAAAAAA!!!!

Desinie 10-26-2008 02:27 PM

I love it, Sally!( I won't smack you heh) I'm really happy for you and glad your little dog's learning to walk up and down it.

When DH was a carpenter, one of his young helpers was eye candy. But when the big, not very attractive female client came over to him uninvited and tweaked his nipples, you could see the fear in his young eyes. Be gentle out there!!!!!!!!!. But there are some out there who like it. I slept with man who built my Bedroom, but it was DH!!!
