Had my 6 week check up hysterectomy
It was really weird hearing a doctor telling me that I was now a cancer patient. He said that the cure rate for his removing it is in the high 90%s. But he still wants to check me every 4 months for 2 years. I read the pathology report. The uterus was almost totally filled with one single polyp which had started turing into it's cancerous stage. But because I had asked for the MRI for my leg pain they caught the uterine problem.

I'm pleased to hear that you're in that 90% survival rate Doydie.... and you are!
I go back into hospital next week for my first check to make sure the bowel cancer that I had operated on last year, hasn't returned. We're survivors, you and me ... and I'm confident I'll get a good report ..... just as you did. |
Excellent, Doyd!

Glad to hear you are a survivor. Good thing it was caught early, even if albeit through a leg mri.

Glad they caught it early Doyd! I, too, am a survivor.
