Thoughts and prayers going out for Moss, and you and the family Moi...

mistiis 12-15-2008 06:25 PM

...in my prayers

((((Moi-Moss-family))))....you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time....may you be filled with comfort and strength... ...and may God reach out and bless those little angels with protection, and love.

GONE FROM MY SIGHT

I am standing upon the seashore. A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean. She is an object of beauty and strength. I stand and watch her until at length she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come to mingle with each other.

Then someone at my side says: "There, she is gone!"

"Gone where?"

Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast and hull and spar as she was when she left my side and she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port.

Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says: "There, she is gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: "Here she comes!"

And that is dying.

Henry Van Dyke

....may you all be comforted......:grouphug:

I'm sorry Moi and Moss -- I only just now saw this request.

Please accept my condolences at the loss of your dear Aunt.

I do hope your dear Grandchildren are able to enjoy a stable family life. They are so cute and precious. I know you have fought very hard for them and pray things will turn out well for all concerned.

Sorry your Christmastime is filled with sadness and uncertainty. You'll be in my prayers.:hug::hug:

I am so sorry to hear about your wives Aunty ... please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.

I lost my grandfather 3 weeks ago so I understand some of what you are going through and how hard it is on everyone.

Someone on the RSD forum shared this poem with me and it helped me, I hope it will help you too:

Some things I would like to say.
First of all to
let you know I arrived I ok.
I am writing this from heaven
where I dwell with God above
There are no tears or sadness,
just eternal love.
The day I had to leave you
when my life on earth was through
God picked me up and hugged me and said
“I welcome you.”
Then God gave me a list of things I had to do and foremost
on that list of mine is to watch over and care for you.
When you think of my life on earth and all those living years
because you are only human they are bound to bring you tears.
Do not be afraid to cry it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, if there was no rain.
When you are walking down the street with me on your mind,
remember I am walking in
your footsteps-----
just a half a step behind.
And when you feel that gentle breeze
or wind upon your face,
that’s me giving you a great big hug or just a gentle embrace.
And when it’s time for you to go from
that body to be free
remember you are not going
but coming here to me.
I will always love you,
From my home way up above.

You're all in my thoughts and prayers and sending you many 's

Spanish Moss 12-17-2008 08:58 PM

Thank you all so much...( and my Moi for posting this)

I believe our prayers are being answered....such peace is surrounding me of late...

May I share something about my aunt?

Her last words before she passed were whispered clearly to her sister...words of a benediction she had heard throughout her childhood....the more significant to me because she wasn't verbal about her faith or beliefs

"To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen." (These are from the last paragraph from the book of Jude)

I wonder how beautiful that is to me...to have that spiritual bridge to walk across between our earthly life and the next....

You are very special people....

Doody 12-17-2008 09:16 PM

And you dear (((Mrs. Moi))) are an angel walking on this earth. I believe that with all my heart. I'm so blessed to have you and the Moi in my life.
