Get a free account at Photobucket.com or one of the other photosharing websites and then post a link, or hotlink from the site it's stored on. That's what I do with my crochet and knitting pictures on the crochet websites that I go to.

doydie 12-16-2008 02:16 AM

mine is still sitting in the box. I haven't even gotten my Moms things out yet to get to her apartment!. This week I have finally gotten some energy back from Tha nksgiving and then some shopping trips the next week. I now have shopping done for 3 people on my list! Whoo hoo!

ali12 12-16-2008 07:26 AM

I'd love to share my Christmas tree with you all also but I haven't even got it up yet! With my grandad passing away, non of us feel like getting the tree out but I promise once it is up, I shall take a few pics for you all!

Erin524 12-16-2008 07:38 AM

I'll take pictures of mine later today. Took me about a week and a half to get it assembled and decorated...We're having a mini-blizzard today, so taking pictures of the tree should keep me from being bored for about 10 minutes.

Thanks,Erin.
I do have a PhototBucket account and have used it on other boards. I just find it personally irritating to use links. I like to just see the pic! Weird, huh?

The one time I posted a pic over on Ravelry, I put it directly in the post. Let's see...I did post a few more since last night.....

You're on Ravelry? Cool! (if you want to know who I am there, send me a PM)

I always use the Image Slurper to upload pictures to Ravelry. I like the Slurper. Too bad more websites dont use a Slurper.

Here is one of mine...

doydie 12-17-2008 10:48 PM

My son in law is coming over tomorrow and we are going to get ours up. I would just forget about it since it is this late but I'm having Christmas at my house! But since it's on Jan 3 I hvae a little more time to enjoy it. Plus I can't have those two grand kids come to Grandmas house and there be no tree.

Finally got mine up! Still need to get the antique mirror above the fireplace but have to take it Hobby Lobby to get the proper hardware on the back so I can hang it.

SallyC 12-18-2008 10:24 PM

Nice tree, Doydie... and now I know why you really wanted the fireplace...:D

Everyone's trees are gorgeous!!!

My tree is a new 4 1/2 ft prelit tree with all clear mini lights all over it. I chose not to decorate it with baubles and beads, this year. It looks so pretty, sitting in my bay window. I'll take a picture, when get some film for my old fashion camera..

doydie 12-19-2008 12:14 AM

Sally, from what I hear it is getting harder to get that film for the old cameras. I had a Kodak Advantix, took wonderful pics and now can hardly find any film for it. But my husband got our digital camera as his 35 year employment gift at work so don't need to use the other one. I do miss taking the film to Target and getting 2 sets of pics, one for me and one for my Mom.

Momma's Kids 12-19-2008 08:42 PM

Those are some pretty trees ya got there...

Koala77 12-19-2008 09:04 PM

We don't have a tree this year. Too much going on for us to get around to it I'm afraid, but it sure is good to look at everbody else's trees.

Thank you for sharing. :grouphug:

My Mom lives in a small apartment so had to give up her tree. She now has one of those little, oh I would say it's about 3 feet, trees that is prelit. She has it on top of her samll entertainment center. She puts her samll nativity and all her Christmas cards around it and it's all she needs. Yes, she misses the days where she had the full tree but is satisfied with what life has given her. She stores this tree under her bed, pulls the box out, takes it out, plugs it in and there it is. No work, no fuss, no mess.
