Prednisone in a pear tree....:p

I thought doing oral steroids would have less of an impact on me than IVSM, boy was I wrong. A few hours after taking my first dose today I was crying at my desk and ready to throw my stapler at the next person who talked to me. Now I just want some chocolate... a vat of it.

I'm just venting... that way I won't explode. Thank God for this site and all of you wonderful, understanding people.:grouphug:

Gee..And only 11 more days of Christmas to go..

That's one of the reasons why I hate oral pred! I hope you get better soon! :hug:

Too bad someone hasn't invented a chocolate version of this med! They'd be a millionaire! :cool:

But do the orals leave that nasty taste in your mouth? I swear I survived on Gaterade and Hershey's Kisses the whole time i was in the IVSM

I didn't notice any weird taste yesterday, like with IVSM, but since I've lost some of my ability to taste with this relapse, I can't be positive. I was able to sleep last night which I could never do on IVSM, so that is a good thing. Of course I chugged Nyquil before I went to bed, so that could have something to do with it! ;):p

Well let's see... there are 7 nurses and 3 doctors at the neuro office so that takes care of 10. Then there is the schmuck at my insurance company that refuses to cover my meds so that makes 11, and the last one.... That's the cop that tried to arrest me for the first 11!
