Please pray for my Mom

Thank you all for your posts here in PM and my personal page :hug: Some how I just knew I could count on you guys! This has been a scary day....... I have no words....

Mom is still very bad, but she IS able to talk now. I do not care if the doctors will not give me hope. I have hope, and I know I just received my Christmas Miracle!

They can not yet tell us all that is causing her to be so very ill. I have seen death, and I saw it in her today...........

On a day I thought for sure would be too unbearable to stand for the pain and grief.............

Instead, I find I am holding on tight and am so very thankful for who I DO still have this day! I thank you for your prayers for my Mom... they mean the world to me, and I DO believe they have helped her hang on. :hug:

I need to go back with her, thank you all so much! :hug:
With a burst of joy I find I can easily say, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!:hug::hug:

I had a chat with Nikki very early this morning...her mother was stable at that time. Hopefully we will hear from her soon.....:grouphug:

Thank you all. She did get semi stable around 9 this morning. By stable, I mean she can not stand on her own, she has not enough strength to lift a glass....it takes 3 of us to get her safely to the bathroom....but her blood pressure was not so dangerously low, she was pumped full of IV meds fluids and all sorts of stuff I don't remember.

When she became coherant enough to make her own choices once again, (read sleepless thread)) she refused treatment once more and checked herself out of the hospital :hissyfit: :Sob: We brought her home, and have made her as comfortable as we can. I can't be with her as I wish because I have to care for Lynn.........and I find this is extremely hard and my heart is full of resentments towards his children. I have called his children.... we will see..... my heart is so torn

She told us she has not given up yet. She said she WILL find out how bad the masses are, what sort of treatment plans etc before she decides. She WILL go to all specialist they have lined up.... she WILL take her medicine.......and I need to be, and AM grateful she will do this much to fight. God I wish I could fight for her!!!

I hope Lynn's kids come to your/his aid so you can be by your Mom's side. I'm glad your sis is nearby.

:hug: Nik-key... I've been out of touch, too... and want you to know you're close in my thoughts :Heart:

I have such love in my heart for all of you.. and I can't thank you enough for being here, for all the posts, PM's and messages. I am falling apart......... my Mom is failing... there is something wrong with her heart and the masses are on her lungs. She had more tests today, and more for the 5th......... she is trying, she is trying to fight, but she is so weak :Sob:

In my breaking, I have had to face the fact that I need to look into placing Lynn in a nursing home :Sob:.......... another story for when I feel stronger....... I find just writing this has sapped all my strength, but I did want to check in with all of you.

I am rarely on, but will try to post when I am able. Much love my friends and thank you for being here :hug: Nikki
