Where is BJ?
 

I haven't heard from her in a couple of weeks.:Sigh: Has anyone heard from her recently? She's been in physical pain also from the accident in which she was the passenger.

It's sweet of you to care BF. I too hope that BJ is doing OK, and I hope the only reason that she hasn't got back to us is because she's been busy.

I've got appointments with a therapist,Nurse Practitioner,and my Case manager this month. I still haven't heard from the SSD people.

I'm so tired of the wait,and I've sold some of my possessions so I can pay the bills. I'm sort of in a slump,and tired because I cannot afford to go anywhere. I use my car to drive to the store,to get groceries. Things look dim to me right now. I hope that they change for the better.

I hope that my emotions heal. No one has fussed at me recently,or thrown guilt trips,threats,or gloom,and doom on me. Thats been the primary thing that upsets me for a long period of time. I become very disturbed by verbal abuse. When that happens,I can't get it out of my head. It replays over,and over,and over again.

I wonder if our new President knows about the two year waiting period that the SSD people make us wait. I have now been waiting for over two years. This has caused tremendous family problems,and pressure that has caused me many heartaches,and sorrow.

If anyone has other means of contacting BJ... such as email, IM or phone... perhaps they would be willing to try? (that is if they have not already done so.) I am not asking for disclosure of this information... just wondering if perhaps several ppl might have contact with her and each might assume someone else has tried.... that sort of thing.

if BJ had only physical ailments - indeed her injuries are putting her in severe pain and limit her activity a great deal for now - i would not be as concerned.

But this is not the only thing. I recall seeing posts about the Beast... ... she is very vulnerable to depression, and pain and depression exacerbate one another.

So at this point after this much time without a peep out of her, I am quite concerned.

Wellbeing Check???

does this forum have what is called a "wellbeing check" procedure in place, perchance? other places do... however, it is fairly invasive and not used unless there is serious concern for the welfare/life of the person in question. it involves the confidential tracing of the person's identity and subsequent request to the authorities that they make a house call, to verify the safety of the person.

i am starting to have enough concern with her absence, though possibly explained by the physical issues, as to at least wonder if NT has such a procedure available.

meanwhile if anyone has private contact with her... do, please, use it and perhaps ask for permission to post something on her behalf or simply that she is ... "ok" ... for lack of a better word.

She was last seen on the sos boards on the 1-15th, that was 25 days ago.

Just to let everyone here know that I have tried e-mail, and recently, I have tried contacting her by mail again. I really do hope that someone will hear from her soon. If I hear back I will be sure to let everyone here know. Let's keep up the prayers....~sigh There was a time when I had to leave off internet communication for a very long time. Please don't give up. :grouphug:

i am so relieved you have contacted your friends and made your presence known here just with the thanks button - that helps a lot even if you cannot post. i understand "cannot post" states. :(
