I Wish... (selfish wishes)
 

I wish (in no particular order):

1) that this antibiotic (biaxin) was not making me nauseated;
2) that someone would do my taxes for me - being a bit lazy here;
3) that someone would take my car to garage for me tomorrow and deal with the service people;
4) that someone could get the telephone company to clean up the mess they made when installing internet, cable, and telephone a few years ago (wires everywhere) and at the same time get them to install a dvr for me;
5) that someone would change the lightbulbs in my ceiling fans in my living room (cathedral ceiling);
6) that I could find someone to clean my house (despite the economy, all of the recommended house cleaners are booked);
7) that someone would help me make medical decisions;
and
8) that the Steelers win today.

Of course I also wish for a cure for ms and all other diseases, world peace, an improving economy, and that Sandy wins the Publishers House Sweepstakes.

I wanna make a wish too!!!

I wanna wish that I wont get the cold that I can feel is creeping up into my nose and down into my chest.

Woke up with one side of my nose stuffy, and a weird congested feeling in my chest. My nose cleared up, but it just doesnt feel like that's going to last.

I dont wanna be sick, but I can tell it's coming after me.

Oh, and I wanna win Powerball this week.

I wish I would wake up and be thin. *grin

I wish I could wave a magic wand and make us all better. *sigh

I wish I was still 30 something, still thin, sexy, DH still with me and NO MS!!!

However, realistically, I Wish my DSS would fix my scooter and get it to me. It's been two weeks and I am warn out, tugging my poor, plump wittle body around is this dang manual WC..:(

I wish I knew how to make tofu from soybeans, it's getting costly to purchase.

I wish all the guns in the world would suddenly evaporate. *poof*

I wish the tax breaks for the very wealthy would end, so that schools, public hospitals, bridges, levees, roads, libraries and public utilities' infrastructure repairs could be funded.

I wish for Universal or Single-Payer Healthcare for all US Citizens.

I wish for an *end* to the harmful deregulation and lax oversight, outsourcing, offshore tax-havens, corporate cronyism, corporate lobbyists, corporate greed, obscenely massive bonuses, and most of all, an end to the revolving door betwixt the government and the corporations they're supposed to REGULATE.

I wish for the economy to revive itself out of this horrible slump, and for a cessation of the obstinate obstructionism that's blocking recovery efforts.

I wish for a swift return of the Rule of Law, Habeas Corpus, Posse Comitatus, and obedience to International Treaties.

ALL selfish wishes, because I want to see America be beautiful, strong, proud, and prosperous again...

I wish Spring would hurry up and get here so I can get out of this funk.

I wish my husband didn't work such crazy hours.

I wish I could drink the water out of my tap so I wouldn't have to live off of store bought water.

I wish I had the stamina to exercise more and the discipline to eat less.

well, it's all one big ball of wax dear!

if all my wishes came true, I would feel safe enough to move back, and live near my children and step-grandchildren.

Have lots of other wishes but right now that would be number 1.

ooohhhh -- I just read over some of the other wishes that are such noble and good wishes, far better than mine, I was keeping with the thread title I suppose - mine is a totally "selfish" wish.

I wish I could work less hours!! or just stay home and enjoy the kids at home..
I wish the kids had more mommy time!! (same wish wink)
I wish life could slow down!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I could have my old, powerful body back, all else would follow.
