School has been cancelled today as the UK is having the worst snow storms in over 20 years - not good for anyone with RSD!!! I got ready and in the taxi and then the driver got a call saying it was cancelled - I wasn't very happy as we have bought a big cake for everyone so it looks like we will have to take it tomorrow and then go to my PT session if the schools open!!!

Me, my mum, dad and nanan are going for a meal hopefully if the roads are better so that should be really nice!! I'm going to see the ***** Cat Dolls on Thursday also for a late Birthday treat so that should be good - ive seen them before live and they were excellent!!

I got lots of lovely presents and lots of money which I am going to save up for our trip to Las Vegas in March!!

Awww, thank you all so much for the lovely Birthday wishes - they mean a lot to me and I am overwhelmed by them - you guys are the best!!

We didn't get out for the meal unfortunately as it's thick with snow here!! I did have a lovely day though and my mum took the day off work so we got to spend some quality time together!! One of my good friends came to ours which was nice as I hadn't seen her in person for quite a long time!!

Were hoping that we will be able to go for the meal tomorrow and that the weathers better - its no good for anyone with RSD!! I have an apointment at the hospital also with my physical therapists!!

Thanks again everyone - you're all the best and I hope your all having a great, low pain day!!

Ali when you have time you should take a look at Logan Magazine. It is a teen girl mag that was started by a young women who suffered a brain injury after having a heart attack. While she was recouperating and learning to walk and talk again her and her mom were trying to find magazines that she could look at or read that might pertain to her situation. Since there was nothing out there like that they created their own magazine. I have had the pleasure of hearing her speak and hearing her story. She has put together a very cool magazine and uses other teens who are experiencing health issues to submit articles. You might like it. I know I thought it was very cool.

I did have a nice Birthday although it was very quiet on the actual day of my Birthday as the UK is having the worst snow storms in over 20 years and of course, it made my pain levels go up quite a bit!! All of the Schools were closed and their was quite a few freak accidents near where we live! Things are a bit better now but the weather is still horrible and it has forcasted more snow for tomorrow!!:eek:

Me and my mum went for a lovely meal on Wednesday for a late Birthday treat! It was really lovely - I really wanted my nanan to come but she didn't feel up to it as she wasn't too well but I enjoyed it all the same!!

We also went to see the Pussycat Dolls yesterday (they are a girl band for those of you that don't know) and they were amazing!! The loud music REALLY hurt my leg and set the spasms off a lot but it was definitely worthwhile and I am SO glad I went!! I have seen them before with 2 of my friends and they were really good then but were a lot better yesterday!!
