I'm thinking of you also. It's a big day and I'm so sorry you have a headache already.

I accidentally posted on another thread asking if you ever got to see the King Tut Exhibition? I hope you did. I saw it in the 80's. It was super duper. I don't think it's the exact same expo now in 2009 as I read they'd had to stop moving some particular objects around so much because of the potential damage. Anyway, it's well worth seeing. A blaze of turquoise and gold. All I could think of when I was looking at it all was WOW. It was magical :)

The Dallas Museum of Art is pleased to host the spectacular exhibition Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs through May 17, 2009.

We had plans to go..but the baby was born. I'm glad I checked that we still have time. GrandMonkey ..and his MeMe have talked and talked about it.

Lara 03-24-2009 08:48 AM

Thank you for the date. I had no idea.

Do go. It's wonderful. Well, it was in the 80's, can't imagine it wouldn't be now. lol

It's a lifetime experience.

I bought Rick tickets to see if for his b-day/valentines day in February but around that time was when Ricks dad got so bad again. The tickets can be use anytime so we decided to not go until he got better.. between that and the weather and now moving my FIL we still have not been able to get away for a weekend to go see it. We are still planning on going though... We're shooting for April LOL....
