Thank you all! I've had an enjoyable b-day - spent alot of time holding my 3mo old daughter- that always makes me feel beter...pain levels are ok -not miserable, which is good. (thats not the "fake smile ok that family/co-workers get....) My dad asked how it felt to be 26 - i told him that i wish my body felt lik a 26yr olds! and Jo - no need to be embarassed (no pun, i PROMISE :p about the boil). Remember- i shared that i had a boil/cyst removed from a similar area in May- couldn't sit for a week!

with the comments about my age- it made me remember something kinda funny - when I first saw my Pain Mgmt doctor, we talked, he inquired what sypmtoms i had, how i felt, etc. then he looked at my chart again and said - "wait - you're too young to be here!.:eek: " I laughed and said - "believe me doc, I know that...." (not that anyone of any age should sufffer tho.....)

I'm glad it was an enjoyable time.

I'm right there with Jo55, I didn't realize you were so young, I guess I forgot. :o I have a son who will be 26 in April and he and his wife are considering starting a family soon. I hope I will be able to hold my grandchild. Right now the best I could do is have someone place him/her in my arms while I am settled in to the couch with pillows. That's a start!!

Oh a 3 month old!! Now that is a fabulous gift!!! Sigh..:Sigh: how I miss those days!! Those babies grow up so fast!!
