Fat cells for MS and liposuction
 

Has anyone seen the study that uses fat cells for MS?

I was thinking that if this is a success, I could have a flat stomach (plenty of fat cells there, healthy fat cells :p) and a FLAT tummy!

Fat cells for MS??? As a cure or treatment? I should be disease free if fat cells turn out to be the magic bullet for MS!! :o :p

LOL, Cyn. Another interpretation error. I thought you were saying donating fat cells via liposuction for MS. LOL. I do have some I could donate.

I haven't seen or heard of this study. Are they finding that the cells help? That kind of makes sense to me if the cells have enough of the good fat. I think some amount of fat for us MSers is actually good. I know I have mentioned this once before but, breast milk is high in fat. That fat helps build healthy myelin in babies. I am probably just assuming here but I think that some fat, in healthy amounts, would be good for us MSers to help us rebuild the myelin. Who knows though? It just seems too simple to be realistic.:rolleyes:

I guess I'll have that doughnut afterall.

They take stem cells from the fat..Geesh..I can't believe they only had 3 takers if the lipo was free :confused:..

Just read about this study yesterday. WOW!!!! Maybe this will be the "back door" way of getting our insurance to pay for liposuction! Where do I sign up?????? :) :) :)
