Birthday Season
 

My 58th birthday was on April 19th.

My best friend took me to the casino, bought me a OSU sweatshirt and took me to lunch on April 15th.

My brother and sister took me to lunch on my birthday and I got presents and a wonderful lunch.

My next door neighbors surprised me with cake and presents on the 24th. They brought me a gorgeous cake, hanging basket of flowers, a case of Dr. Pepper and a picture frame.

My other best friend and her little girl took me to lunch on the 26th, we had a margarita along with our Mexican food and she took me to buy flowers for my birthday present. Her little girl made me a hand made birthday card that is now on my fridge forever.

My neighbor said it was my birthday season. I thought that was hilarious. I'm still ready to party and receive gifts. LOL After all, I am 58 and I earned every year and wrinkle I have. LOL

These are pictures of my sweet neighbors surprising me with "My Birthday Season".

I think I will have a "Birthday Season" every year now. It's not the gifts but the thoughts, planning, smiles and love they showed me. That is the real celebration.:)

Becky, at the rate you're going, you'll still be celebrating 58 when you turn 59! And I like it! :D

It is the most beautiful cake I have ever seen.:) It is 5 layers with milk chocolate mousse in the center. It is devine!!!!:):):) I wish I could give everyone a bite but I must finish it myself.LOL:D:D

They are the sweetest young couple. They moved into the other half of my duplex in November and we just clicked immediately.

I have had a lot of love coming my way and it really feels wonderful.:)

Did you go to Oklahoma State? It's an Eskimo Joe's sweatshirt but they are worn by all of us in Oklahoma, even OU fans!! I wore it on my actual birthday after I got home from pigging out with my brother and sister. I was very cool that day and I put on sweats and my big new sweat shirt so I could breathe.:D:D:D
