Ok, so Oprah is picking up the tab for anyone who wants to try KFCs new grilled chicken. The catch is, ya gotta print the coupon before tonight (5/6/09) and use it in the next few weeks.

I'm going there for lunch today. first time at KFC in about 10 years, I guess I just can't pass up free.

It also comes with biscuits and a side I believe.

Had this last week. its not bad. I am not a fast food girl, and we stray far away from Mc anything places, but hubby wanted to try it. It has good flavor, and was quite juicy. I am glad they added it to their menu. I just wonder how much MSG is in the seasoning.

Also, be sure the KFC close to you is taking the coupons. It's only at participating KFC's.

About a week ago, I went to a KFC / Taco Bell combo store and they gave me 2 pieces for free even though I was buying tacos. They were giving it away to everyone - I don't know if it was just that day or what, but it was a nice surprise. It was good, too. I liked it much better than their fried chicken.

We got a couple of KFC coupon books in the mail and inside there is one for a free piece of grilled chicken. I guess everyone in their mailing area got them. Not usually a KFC fan, but may get some for DH to try.

I never could get mine to print out. I donwloaded the coupon printer but it never worked. My son in law couldn't either. Do you think I could email Oprah and she would take me out to dinner? She did say free chicken dinner for everyone in America! But yet the site would only let you print off 4 coupons. How would a family of more than four eat?

Now my son-in-law is in trubble! I only had 20 min. to print these out (been gone all day), so I hurried and called him so he could print some out, too.

Turns out that SIL already knew about, printed them out and had KFC for lunch, but DIDN'T BOTHER TO TELL ME ABOUT IT. :mad: Sheesh!

LOL Our KFC's are out of chicken! The funniest part is everyone is mad at Oprah! WTH? It's not her fault they ran out of chicken! LMAO

I had to go to the "big city" yesterday.

I brought along a bunch of coupons.

We got two of these grilled chicken meals and then went next door to Mickey D's and got two McCafe's (new coffee drink) free with coupons from the weekend paper.

We found a park with a covered shelter and had a picnic.

Then we went to a local ice cream store and got a free cone each with another set of coupons.

Thanks to KFC, McD's and Giffords for the free meal! :D

Well, that's stupid: I clicked on SallyC's link, then found the list of KFC restaurants that serve the new grilled chicken. Utah is NOT one of them! :mad:

I don't get it. Salt Lake City Utah is home to the very FIRST KFC!

Does anyone have the Colonel's phone number? I think he should know about this!

This made the TV news here in Australia as well. We didn't get any free chicken, but we did get to see the queues and the traffic jams outside the KFC stores across your country.
