Not a Good News Thread..
 

I need to stay away from the Stumble Inn Good News Thread, because....I FEEL LOUSY!!:o

Anybody else feel lousy?? Everything just hit me today...my MS, DD's MS, kids all have sore thoats, feeling old, achy and cranky. It hurts to move, today.

The other thing that tics me off is, the weather is gorgeous today..:mad:

I hear ya, Sally. When the good news thread started, I was in no mood for it...just going through one of those attitude slumps, everything hitting at once, and I would have BIT anybody that told me to look on the bright side.

Once I got back in the groove, there were so many posts that I didn't have the energy to go read them all. Don't get me wrong--I'm glad there is a good news thread, and someday I'm going to read it all!

But sometimes you just feel crummy, and isn't it great that this place is here so you can say so? No judgmentalism, no false cheer...just understanding and cyber-hugs. (((Sally)))

Well besides my legs that never work, when the high humidity came the left side of my face went all numb, also my left arm and hand went totally useless...no good news there ..but wait I still have my right hand ...yay.;)

I'm praying for you, Sally. Better days are ahead. If we didn't have lousy days, how could we appreciate the good ones? Hang in there. It is only a matter of time.

Awwwww Sally, I'm so sorry you're feeling down in the dumps. It's really the pits when it looks like everything in life is wrong. :( That's why in another thread I had said, if anybody says 'it could be worse', I was going to smack 'em!!!! Just don't want to hear it now please, it's worse enough for you!! Hopefully the kiddos will bounce back soon and you and DD can share a big hug. Here's one from me ((((((Sally)))))). We have had lots of rain lately, so I just do projects in the house that I have been putting off. Putting pictures in albums, labeling them with names and dates, before I forget the dates. ;)

I can relate. It seems as though a lot of people are having a pretty rough time of it lately. I am in a pain flare right now with my leg and have been up all night - it is 5am and I haven't had a wink of sleep yet!! It has been like it for the last few nights now so I think we will have to speak to my dr about it!

I also feel like you sometimes and don't feel in the mood for a positive news thread when I am feeling down though I do tend to find that it helps me a bit more right now as it always brings a smile to my face when one of my good friends has had a good day!!

I have an appointment to see my GP on the 29th. My mum wanted to get it sooner than that but that is the earliest appointment we can get as they are so busy. I see my PT's next Wednesday so am hoping I will get some answers off them then as I really don't feel well and am missing lots of school because of the pain. The pain I am getting in my knee doesn't feel like the usual pain I get so we are thinking that something else is going on.

We aren't out of school yet! It seems we break up later than everyone in America! We don't finish until nearly the last week in July! We have 7 weeks off during the summer holidays and then I start college in September so will probably be busy with preperations for that all Summer!! My PTs are also wanting to admit me into hospital to do some intense PT so i'm hoping they can get it done during the holidays AND allow me plenty of time to relax before college also!!

I'm off school again today as I didn't get any sleep at all last night and am feeling the effects today. My body still doesn't want to go to sleep though for some reason! Hopefully i'll sleep better tonight!

Thanks for your thoughts. I feel better, Kids are better, but DD is still having a bit of dizzyness/vertigo.

She is doing very well on LDN, but it doesn't take everything away.:(

It's hot here too, Sal. Supposed to be in the low 90's and on Friday they are saying 96!! :eek: :( I hate the heat!!! :mad:

Today I feel like your "blue man", Sandy! Another RAINY, COOL day here in NE Pennsylvania. Have to keep moving in my "chair" so I don't grow mold!! LOL Enough all ready!!!!!

Sally, you could send a little of that heat here. It only got up to 72 degrees today and damp. Yuck! But next week I'll probably be complaining about the heat -- never satisfied!! :)

I don't know what this has to do with anything...but, I really MISS being around all my friends at work and LAUGHING ABOUT NOTHING AND EVERYTHING!

Me, too!! We used to have the best group of ladies in my department. There was this one girl who would, for no apparent reason, just break into singing at random times!! It was great!! She'd sing Respect by Aretha Franklin and she really had a good voice. It was so funny.....it'd be real quiet and all of a sudden we'd hear "What you want....baby I got it.......what you need......you know I got it". It was great....I miss that :(.
