Newbie w/ MS Howdy

New to Neuro Talk- I did perform a treatment on myself back in 97' and IT did work...09 now and dealing with my first serious flare up. I almost forgot about the head pains, but the lack of movement KILLS me!

Hi and welcome to NeuroTalk! Sorry to hear you have MS.....how long have you been diagnosed?

You mentioned that you had "performed a treatment" back in 1997. Can you tell us what kind of treatment you had?

There are lots of us here with MS and we're always interested in hearing about other member's treatment options and experiences with MS. So....welcome to the forum and we hope you'll come back and tell us about yourself! :welcome_sign:

Treatment

I want to state from the start that my treatment might not be for everyone. I used "it" after a major attack in 97'. My kidneys had been shut down, along with bladder issues, and a host of things gone wrong.
I was thinking and some researching did follow, that if certain brain altering drugs were used like LSD and a small qty of shrooms one could blast the plaques away and get better. I have four eye witnesses to me not having medical clearance to drive and taking up to 20 minutes to walk 30'.
The evening of 6/21/97 I was dosed and later rode a mtn bike and was no longer using a cane. The next round of MRIs proved to Dr. Mitchell(Biddeford, ME) confirmed that my MRIs should the plaques had pretty much disappeared.
Now if you want to bash me, rip me a new one- take this into account- it WORKED for me, it might not work for everyone, but if a neurologist can confirm on my MRI before 6/21/97 and after 6/21/97 the plaques were in essence gone- then I have to believe this treatment may work for MS patients. I was diagnosed when I was 8 yrs old at Boston Children Hospital who at the time the original diagnose was legionaries disease. I am now 39.
