B12 defiency making RLS worse?

Does anyone else here have Restless leg syndrom and a B12 defeincy? I noticed it seems to get worse when I am having a bad day but it also gets worse a few days after I get a shot? Anyone else?

Although I have to say I remember MrsD mentioned something about potassium being decreased during the treatment for B12 def and I am wondering if maybe that is why my RLS is acting up? make sense?

I had RLS symptoms when B12 deficient.

Yes, I remember people discussing that any neurological symptoms could worsen if under stress (including not enough sleep, illness, emotional stress). My experience was the same. Also, some days there would be symptoms, and some days I'd be symptom free.

The worsening after shots could be healing... I distinctly remember that I would get worsening symptoms when I took 2000mcg daily instead of 1000mcg daily... and I took that as a positive sign that nerves were healing. I did get better!

Could be the potassium thing, too. My daughter was very twitchy when low potassium. Not just legs though... all over.

yea, it seems like the muscles in my arms and lets get twitchy... tense but weak, if that makes sense. Actually I feel like crap today... really tired and muscles acting up. Good to hear that your symptoms came and went like mine are. That would be nice if that all that muscles stuff was healing after my shots. Because I gotta say, man I felt FUNKY after my last shot. SO jittery and my mind was racing like crazy... felt like I was on an over dose of speed. lol. I know you haven't had shots... but it makes sense to feel that way I guess. Thanks for all your help. Talking to you has been so helpful. I would love to talk to you in that chat room, even if just to get to know you better. I am going to try to remember to be there Wed night at 9:30 when I am trying to start a b12 chat. maybe I'll see you there.
