Plegridy, new Beta-Interferon drug from Biogen

Biogen has applled for trials in Europe and America for its new Beta-Interferon drug Plegridy. It will require only monthly injections, fewer than Avonex.

I was unable to take Alpha-Interferon for my Polycythemia Vera, so I am not not sanguine about this for MS, but it should be mentioned. Maybe someone else has already mentioned it.

Just a souped of version of Avonex, With the same yucky SX,
at probably twice the cost and says it works better if you shoot
yourself evy 2 weeks instead of evy 4 weeks.

thanks Sally. You are probably smart to be on LDN. I don't think I could take it with my other dx's. I did bring it up and doctors here thought it was a joke (not a joke, I believe).
Let me say it again, Sally, you are really smart to be on LDN.

Yes the pharma will probably charge more for this "improvement".
