PN and problems typing

Hi all,

I work in a position where I'm typing all day long and frequently switching from keyboard to mouse to phone.

I have peripheral neuropathy and radiculopathy as well as gout in my hands. It makes it bloody hard to feel my way around a keyboard and slows down my typing tremendously.

My company will do a reasonable accommodation, but because it's a small company we don't have access to a specialist who can make recommendations. Can anyone here give me some ideas of what has helped them?

Thanks,
Bonnie

Use a trackball mouse and a keyboard with low rise keys. You can also use a iPad or the like for this. Take breaks regularly. Good luck.
