Pain in the %^&

Despite increasing my fiber intake...I'm tired of passing either goat droppings or fence posts. What is everyone's magic solution to this? Trying to stay happy.

Re: some solutions

Because I take a narcotic, I do have trouble with this. I take Phillips milk of magnesia, and a good old glass of prune juice. problem gone...try it. ginnie

I use mineral oil 1/2 cup, wash it down with some juice or flavored drink.
use until desired results occur!

add a little "dirt" to your regimen :)

are there other sx such as gas ,bloating? You may want to consider adding some HCI (hydrichloric acid) once in a while. I take a magnesium powder called CALM which not only helps with my bowel but taken before bed helps me to relax. A friend of mine has had really good results drinking water with diatomaceous earth....check it out- i really like the idea of going after parasites and am ordering some to try:

I made a batch of Yakima fruit paste for my dad to try.
Seemed to be helping a bit & natural so they made the next batch with the recipe I gave them.

here's a old thread with the recipe- I used a senna tea in bags, not loose -

Here is the simple answer, assuming you can get it: "Fiber One" breakfast cereal. It's better tasting and more effective than anything else I have tried. I'm not sure if it's Kellogg's or Post (I don't have a box nearby at the moment).

I have no horse in this race. I am not a cereal salesman. I'm just a very satisfied customer. I don't own stock in Fiber One. My only relationship to it is to go to the grocery store, purchase it (at full bust-out retail price),take it home, eat it and, well...you know how it ends.
Good Luck!

Aloe Juice will do it

I've been having quite a bit of success drinking aloe juice on a daily basis. It seems to assist my medication to work more reliably and I've been able to decrease from (2) 25-100 carbi-levo to 1 1/2 per dose. That being a great benefit, a secondary benefit has been wonderful regularity. Prior to the aloe, I was 4-5 days of no activity and then a desperate requirement to use an enema. Not fun!
A friend who has serious ulcers, started using aloe and it has eased his ulcer pain.

Apricot nectar kicks butt. I've had IBS for years and when I get backed up, that always does the trick. They sell it in the grocery store in cans, I just add a little to my morning juice and voila!
