Curcumin Question

I started taking curcumin yesterday. I am using ApexNatural Tumeric Curcumin Advanced 95.

I take 8 or 9 other vitamins each day, but the curcumin makes me want to vomit almost immediately. It is actually smaller than some of my other pills, but the taste is just so strong that I immediately gag and can't keep it down. I actually did throw up twice yesterday as I was trying to swallow it.

Any suggestions on ways to keep it down or drown out the taste? Can I maybe sprinkle it on food and take it that way? I do like curried dishes, but the pure curry taste of these capsules is apparently too much for me.

Are you taking it in a capsule form or as a tablet ? Most capsules are tasteless. My stomach does not agree with curcumin either. I have not taken it in a while.

It's a capsule, but I can still taste it. Maybe I'll take it in pudding or something.

Maybe coat it with some butter or Margerine so it slides down faster? Sounds odd but I have some pills that tend to stick in my throat and that helps with them.

That's a good idea, Laura. I found that eating gelato or a piece of a rich European candy bar (American candy doesn't seem to be as creamy) is helping now. My pills slide right down now.
