Dyskinesia help

Having a very bad dyskinesia day (driving me MAD). Started around 2pm. It's now past 6pm, and no sign of easing of up. I'm on my 2d pint of beer, and took 10mg valium, but it's NOT helping. Anyone here with a favorite remedy? Days like this (fairly rare for me) I wish I had something "stronger"--maybe a barbituate. Any suggestion at all much appreciated. Thanks.

I should mention that I just stopped (3 days ago) a 30-day trial of Baclofen. It had no noticeable therapeutic effect, and it was blurring letters/words--making it difficult to read. Thanks.

Baclofen has a pretty long titration period when you start it and presumably a similar one when you stop. You might try reintroducing it and ramping down slowly.

Thanks for your reply, reverett123. Yes, I did the titration down, but maybe not slowly enough. Although I said in my original post that "bad" dyskinesia days are "fairly rare for me", I'm thinking that I misspoke. I should have said that it's fairly rare for them to be so severe and last so long, especially when I don't take the entirety of my prescribed doses--25/100 reg sinemet (3-4x/day) and 25/100 xr sinemet (3-4x/day). When I actually do take the prescribed doses, the end of the day is terribly dyskinetic for maybe 2-4 hrs.
I guess about all I (WE) can do is just ride them out. Alcohol (TOO MUCH) is really the only thing that settles me down. Of course, WE all know that alcohol is NOT exactly a "good" solution. I hate it and love it at the same time. Many thanks.

Highly recommend Inversion IPA by Dechutes Brewery. I assume it is the hops tincture that is the effective ingredient.

My non-stop dyskenesia day was followed by, now the second day, of unpredictable severe mid-day freeze-up, which used to only happen during evening withdrawal. For a while I was taking my first Sinemet of the day at 4am, but didn't sleep last night, and only made it to 2:30 am.

Have any of you tried Apokyn injection for freeze-up rescue? I wonder what coming down off that is like? Couldn't possibly self-administer it, though. When frozen up I can't even get a pill that is taped to my wrist.

Wishing you all a good night --- I'll be thinking of you
