News from the USA - I just wanted to say...
how sad it has been to see what's happened over your way today/yesterday. What shocking tragedies. :( I don't know if anyone we know here lives in those tornado damaged towns. I just saw it all on the news and it made me feel so sad to see all those children killed and others injured and killed in the tornado damage. My heart goes out to their families and their classmates and all their friends. I don't know either if anyone is close to someone who was killed or injured in that awful bus accident. It seems as if everyday there's yet another shocking loss of life for one reason or another. It's really shocking.

That was a massive and very scary storm system Lara
apparantly the line of storms stretched over 1000miles, all the way from the midwest down into the Gulf of Mexico It is heartbreaking when these tornadoes strike so suddenly.....we were under a warning too but the bad stuff didnt dip down south enough to impact us, other than to bring in some much needed cool weather yesterday our (winter) temperature was 87degrees with high humidity!! the heat down south plus the cold north was what likely gave the fuel to this storm system my thoughts and prayers are with all those in Alabama and Georgia who have lost loved ones and property |
My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone impacted by those storms as well. So very very sad indeed. :(

I haven't even turned the TV on so I didn't know about this. I have a friend in East Texas and relatives in South Carolina.
I will go watch CNN and be back. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved. Judy |
