Neurodiversity

Quote:

"The Disability Movement Turns to Brains"
The New York Times
The article misleads; bipolar disorder is not necessarily a disability, and neurodiversity is not a disability advocacy movement. Neurodiversity is the concept that different brain configurations exist in normal human populations. Some of these neurotypes include Asperger's, manic depression, and OCD.

I suppose the neurodiversity movement. It's led by autistic-spectrum people- particularly Aspies- but I think that manic-depressives should get involved, as well as other people who have evolutionarily different brains from the average schmuck in America.

Neurodiversity forever!

Mad free!
