Washing Crystals and Tape
 

Just posting to ask if anyone tried the washing crystals (sodium bicarbonate crystals) to reduce swelling. Fortunately, it has only been recently that I needed to use them again, after my foolish attempt to walk too much. My right foot and ankle turned purple and was swollen. I used the crystals again with success. I also used them for the first time for aching feet and ankles. They rock! (Pun intended)

In addition to the swelling, both of my outer legs developed the same bizarre, long stripe of dry skin. I also have what I call a deep "CRPS sore" on my left leg. I am using duct tape therapy (occlusion) to deal with this, because no cream or lotion has helped, but there was significant improvement in one night with the pretty decorated duct tape I applied. I suspect the silver tape would work well, too. ;)
