Could I have memory loss from a concussion?

Hi. I was in a car accident last april where it was icy and to make a long story short I got T-boned by a semi with a trailer going about 65. I didn't black out that I remember but I did hit my head on the steering wheel and window. I had a huge bump on the right side of my head and had a concussion and had to stay overnight in the hospital but I was released the next day to go home. anyways what I'm getting at is that since that accident I thought I had completely recovered until recently some co-workers and even school friends of mine noticed that I've been really forgetful and more easily distracted than I ever was, even before the accident. could the forgetfulness and distraction be from the concussion that was more than 7 months ago? or is it something new? I already see a neurologist and that hasn't helped. what else could it possibly be?
