Acetaminophen within normal dosage- still a problem over time? And- vehicles...
 

Just curious if using it over time will cause liver/stomach problems.

I've been taking 2 tablets every night since my headache got worse on Monday after the sudden stop in the taxi. No more taxis or even vehicles of any kind for a while. Well under max dosage a day...

Which leads to a side question: Do any of you avoid rides from even friends or family knowing there's a risk of a sudden stop?

Do you avoid vehicles completely?

I am careful when riding in a vehicle. I know to be ready to move to absorb bumps and other sudden movements. It helps me to not sit hard against the back of the seat. The flexed spine can absorb motion much better that a rigid or straight one.

I take Tylenol frequently, especially before bed. If you are not taking it during the day, your liver and kidneys should be able to handle it. It attacks the liver first. If you are getting blood work done for any reason, ask for a liver test, enzymes I think.

You can also alternate Tylenol, Ibuprophen, and aspiriin. I take enteric aspirin every morning. I have osteo-arthritis everywhere. It helps. Enteric means it does not dissolve until it get past the stomach. Much safe way to take aspirin. I bleed like a stuck pig but I know my blood flows through my heart easily. You can mix aspirin and Tylenol to get a magnified effect. This is similar to Excedrin, except Excedrin also has caffeine. Caffeine is not recommended for PCS.

So, try to learn some new habits for riding in the car. Your brain will thank you.

You should be fine as long as you aren't taking over the daily recommended dose, or for very extended time frame - like months...

having a little something in your stomach when taking those helps too.
