Where is my email from Tommy?

My friend's DH used to forward emails to me all the time. About a year or so ago they stopped.

I just visited their house last night and he says I'm still on his email list. I didn't get anything last night or this morning. Yes, I checked my Junk mail.

He read my email addy out loud to me, and it was correct. So I emailed him something and he clicked the "forward" button to return it. I Still didn't get it!!!

What's going on here? Any ideas?

I haven't had any other problems with it that I know of. I only wish the Junk mails wouldn't make it, lol!

how do you access your email?
online - what site?
or with something like outlook express or Thunderbird mail programs?

So you have his email addy in your address book and he has yours also.

Do you use a security program that has email controls? if so which one.

XP , Vista or other?

My AOL email will auto block suspected spammers. I've had to go into the list and take friends out. :o

Tommy has MSN, I have Hotmail. I don't access it through any other program. Yes, I have his email addy in my list.

Sorry, I don't know if I have a security program that has email controls. I get a couple dozen junk emails daily that go straight to the Junk box, but some slip through into my inbox. I always mark them as Junk, but they keep coming. Pfffft!

I have Vista.

Recently I changed ISP's, (am now with Qwest), but haven't received his emails for months.

Since you are going to the hotmail website - your computer security programs don't matter. unless you download a message or attachment

I haven't used hotmail for many years so I looked up some tips and FAQs.

Here are some Hotmail helps links-

under the FAQ tab-
Not receiving mail from contacts
If you aren't receiving mail that has been sent from people you know, it may be because your Junk E-mail filter or your Block Sender list has excluded them.
Please click one:
Check your Junk E-mail filter settings & Check your Block Sender list -

Finding lost messages -

there are other topics to explore on those pages so I hope they help.

Ooops!

Thanks for you help, everyone.

Tommy just paid me a visit and checked my "blocked messages." Sure enough, his email addy was there, along with my niece! Aaaackkk!

Again, thanks.
