Looking for some advice (yet again....)

I'm FINALLY going back to my pain mgmt doc on Monday He's been out of the country for about 2 weeks, and I haven't seen him in 6wks. As most of you know, its been a very trying 2 weeks for me. Since he's been out for 2 weeks, hes fully booked like all month. So, I'm trying to make a list of things to ask to maximize my time w/ him. I've had a marked increase in chest/neck/trap pain, in addition to all the other stuff. I just wanted to see if you guys had any ideas on what to put on the list - pec minor nerve block, seeing the Docs in denver, etc. any and all help is appreciated! :p
hope you guys are having a low-pain night.

I might suggesst reevaluating your PT. Didn't you say you were doing strengthening exercises?
Those always aggravated my traps in the beginning (when I was doing the wrong kind of PT)

Does anyone around you offer Botox? That is also something to try before surgery.

just some thoughts.

pt my worst enemy

pt after my surgery and six months pain free....despite the pain of surgery for six weeks.......my pain came rushing back after pt pushed me to get me back to work......pt is my worst enemy be careful with it!!!

My PT has involved some "strengthening" exercises - i'm not sure they're to make me "stronger." B/c I had shoulder surgery in March 2006, I couldn't do anything with my arm until mid-april, and then all this started to hit head on. So, I had lost ALOT of muscle mass/tone in my left arm, and my doctor was worried. That is a good point tho, and i will bring it up when i see him today. Thanks again!

Doc's visit went better than I expected, which was a nice surprise! I got in to see him early, we had a good discussion about the last 6 weeks (the last 3 weeks in particular). After discussing the different surgical and non-surgical options, we decided to not cut right now. We're going to continue with the meds, therapy, and nerve blocks for now. They worked me in for a brachial plexus block and some trigger point injections for my neck/shoulder/chest. :D
