Just got off the phone w/Biz and her computer is out. She asked me to post this and read your responses re:Leslie....said to say thank you! I don't know how long she'll be without it. :grouphug:

My sympathies to bizi - mine was messed up last week and I didn't have my important stuff backed up:( it's still on the hard drive - but I have to figure out how to rescue it :eek:- I had to install a second copy of windows and start from scratch.

I hope hers is an easy fix.

Bizi, you will be missed. I hope you get it back soon.

Just got off the phone w/bizi...she says to tell everyone hi and she thinks they'll get the computer back tomorrow...says she's been having withdrawal. :D

i BELIEVE IT ABOUT THE WITHDRAWAL.hopefully she will be back on tomorrow..i sent her a private message the day before she had computer trouble.

It was at the computer shop for a week...so glad that it is back.
I missed you guys!:)
THings look very different and I hate change....
WE have a new service pack for windows and new spyware, virus protection, deleted norton it was worthless to us it seemed.
the computer seems to be pulsating...very annoying!
I have to reload all of my favorites and none of my links, passwords were saved....:( so I will be retracing my steps today....I had a lot of sites in my favorites!
We had a nasty virus infiltrate our system....so glad that hubby can deal with this stuff. The repair guy was really fair to us very fortunate about that.
Glad to be back...we watched 24 episodes of Lost this past week.
It was a LOST marathon!:eek:
Will try to catch up here in the next couple of days.

the computer seems to be pulsating...very annoying!

Is it the screen - maybe the refresh rate needs to be set higher.

It bugs me when lights or screens pulse or flicker.
