breathing problems, herbal remedies
I recently had worsening of my breathing symptoms, so because of researched breathing and figured out I was breathing incorrectly. In fact I was eating air, instead of breathing regularly, lots of people do this unconsciously and don't even realize they are doing it. I also figured out that drinking carbonated beverages increases the chance that u would swallow air. So I decided to drop this addiction to these type of beverages, even though i absolutely love them.
I mean I guess I am somewhat breathing, because I am up and doing stuff, so most of the time it happens during inactivity. So is there anything I can do for these breathing problems, I mean I am taking inderal, but are there any herbal remedies etc?? |
beta blockers like Inderal
can cause shortness of breath, and make asthma worse.
If you are having breathing problems this should be reported to a doctor as soon as possible. |
I agree about talking to your doc. I never knew there was a right and wrong way to breath. I do know that carbonated bev, drinking from a straw, gum can increase the gas in your stomach. I didn't think that effected breathing just stomach comfort though

I knew beforehand that inderal increases those symptoms that are prone to asthmatic conditions. But I don't have asthma, it's a lesser degree.
How i can explain it is, Like you ever get tired of sitting down at the computer, certain sitting positions put pressure on your stomach muscles or breathing muscles. see here so basically you get in a pattern of swallowing air, and/or swallowing and in effect burping alot more frequently. having gas and overall hurting your health and overall wellbeing. its hard to break lived in habits. |
One does NOT
One does NOT have to have asthma, or allergies, to experience
the bronchospasms that beta blockers can cause. They can cause a spontaneous severe one, with no notice at any time. Anyone having breathing difficulties taking a beta blocker (Inderal (propranolol), Tenormin (atenolol) Toprol, or Lopressor) should be reporting this to the doctor who ordered the drug. Many adults may develop asthma in adulthood, while having none during childhood. |
