. *** my friend wasn't lucky enough to get pictures of the babies.... so, I really appreciated those pictures, Dorrie, it was WONDERFUL to see the hatchlings, thank you for posting that link! |
Oh my gosh!!!! I am blinded by the beauty of all of your photos!!!
How cool is that to get such close up pictures of such wonderment AND do a comparison for us with the penny and the toothpicks, etc. And the nests! They look so soft and warm and cuddly for those teeny tiny babies. Thanks so much! |
These photos are indeed one of a kind!!! Being a bird lover, it's always nice when we share photos.

great pictures...
And a good reminder for me to get our feeder up!
The Mertensia will be blooming in a couple of days! They always show about now. I loved the photos... I love hummers! |
HI CAYOKAY!! THOSE PICTURES ARE LOVELY! THEY RE SO TINY IT IS JUST AMAZING!
|
They are superb pictures! Thank you Dorrie & CayoKay.
We don't get Hummingbirds in Australia, and I find it difficult to actually imagine just how tiny they must be. I've seen photos of course, but to actually think they are as little as they are, goes beyond my imagination. Thank you to both of you. |
