Tos

I'm not sure how this goes but it seems like alot of people with TOS have SSD. If one had TOS does that mean they get SSD?

You can get SSD for TOS but it's not automatic, in fact it can be difficult. These are the things that are helpful

a) strong doctor's report's describing your limitations
b) doctors that are respected by social security writing reports for you
c) filling out your application in detail describing your limitations fully
d) a good social security lawyer
e) objective evidence ( if possible, which it often isn't for TOS which is part of the problem)
f) full clinical exam with TOS tests, esp.if you don't have e)
g) functional capacity exam done by someone who understands TOS
h) a good reviewer at Social security
i) a good judge

Some of these things are out of your control or you may not be able to afford, focus on the ones you can do. I didn't have all of these but I did get SSD.
