I'm worried.Anyone else have this?

This is the 3rd time in about a month and a half that my neck/upper half of my chest is hurting.
It feels like something is pulling on my spine when i look in either direction.

The tightness in my upper chest is {above the breast}up around the shoulder area but still in the chest, i feel tightness when i move!
Anyone here with fibro diagnosis ever have this?

I dont have the money to go hear "feel better Kell Its just fibro".So i thought i would ask here first.Just in case it is related to fibro.
I have a reg appt at the end of the month...
Thanx in advance

Kell come and read on the TOS forum- it really sounds like scalene or SCM muscle spasms. We have threads and info on that.

do you also have any choking feelings or like your collarbone is being pulled into your throat?

some links on topic-

I thought the same thing Jo did. It could be TOS. Fibro does cause neck and muscle problems though.

I have times where I can't hold my neck up from the Fibro and have had to get triggerpoint injections to calm it down.

Do read on the TOS though. I read somewhere where Fibro or RSD can bring on TOS because of the way we hold ourselves with the fibro problems in the neck and arms.

Thanx for the links Jo..I forgot about the TOS.My memory isn't very good sometimes!
Thanx to both of you for replying.:)
I am still feeling kinda tight ,but when i take antiinflamatories it ease's it all up over the course of a few days.
I cant say that i feel my collarbone is being pulled, more like my spine is getting a tug when i look in either direction.Just general tightness all across the top of my body.
Yesterday,my lower back went completely out on me again<sigh>
So i need to do some exercises today.Fun Fun!
I read a bit about TOS.I plan on reading some more today.

It could also be costrocondritis, which is the inflamation of the cartlage in the ribcage. It could also explain why anti-inflamatories work for it.
This is also a symptom of FM so its another option you could look into.
