Just another update

I went to my doctor as you know last Wednesday - he took me off of my Rebif MS shots until I go see the MS Center on August 19th. He prescribed me Phenergen for nausea and Estazolam to help me sleep at night. He also prescribed me some nerve pain, but not to fill it unless it gets really bad.

The pains that I've been having since then is that my body still feels heavy. Sometimes from my neck to my lower back hurts, esp when I lay down. I still feel tense, and friday night and today I've had the worst headaches.

Not sure if coming off of Rebif will delay some symptoms - ARE there relapses if you come off Rebif cold turkey? I've taken more than 42 shots without missing one, and now Wednesday I didn't take it per my primary care doctor.

I’ve never heard of stopping DMDs as a cause of symptoms, but don’t go by me. I’m glad your MS clinic appointment is soon.

I know what you mean about your body feeling heavy. Sometimes I wonder if the Universe has been modified so that gravity just doubled. One day I can feel half way decent, then the next day I can feel as weak as a kitten. A cute, cuddly kitten, but a kitten none the less.

:)

Me, too, Marion. Lately I've been feeling like I'm walking in quicksand. Almost like the floor beneath my feet is sinking when I walk. Strangest feeling I've had with MS. Then, the next day it's gone. Nothing surprises me anymore................
