Book on TOS?
Is there any good books that dont cost over $50 on TOS?
Having a hard time here figuring this all out. thanks. J. |
Our useful stickys and threads here are full of info, as well as other sites, there is plenty of free information to be found.
Each case varies so much a book wouldn't even begin to cover every aspect for each of us.. Unless you are looking for a medical based textbook - about the surgery and meant for more for Drs? Post #1 linked below in the useful stickys - has many TOS docs sites that have info and various therapies and co conditions. It is a huge thread that does take quite awhile to get thru when exploring all the links. http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/thread84-4.html |
Excellent one Dr. Scott Freid in Phila area wrote, "Light at the end of the Carpal Tunnel." Maybe $15-$20.
His website is www.nervepain.com Our family has known him for about 15-20 years. He has a section on the site for TOS. It helps families understand the mechanisms of TOS. Dr Sanders is very expensive, I can copy some sections you may be looking for a topic on and send it. The book was $80. |
Has anyone tried Fried's book on self-hypnosis for reducing muscle spasms and nerve pain?

I did not use his book, my psych provided me tapes, and used biofeedback, he had a computer program. I use it a lot for sadness, anxiety as well as pain.
I don't remember if I read/glanced through Scott's book, but know many have. |
