Question/Poll about Fainting

Hello, I'm new to this forum so I'm not entirely sure I'm doing this right, but I got to thinking about something earlier and wanted to ask y'all about.

I have always had a tendency towards fainting. I may faint or feel faint if I get hurt, cool down too quickly, or am sick. It's just something in the way my brain is wired. Here's the thing though, it's something I inherited. Most of my close relatives on my mom's side have this same problem.

Since this fainting is caused by the sympathetic nervous system I'm wondering if it didn't make me more susceptible to developing RSD. Do any of you or your families have a tendency towards fainting?

Hey there! I come from a family of fainters too. They drop like flies. I do not faint as much as them, but I do faint. I have had RSD for 22 1/2 years, but fainted plenty before that. Don't know if the two are related???

I don't know if the two are related either; I don't know if it's ever been looked into, but I figured taking my own poll would give me a place to start research-wise. Thank you for answering!

I fainted once when I was 11. It was warm and I was playing baseball. My father blamed it on not having had anything to eat by 3PM when it happened.

Since I got RSD I've fainted several times. Each time it was during the night and I was in a lot of pain from gastrointestinal issues and the RSD.
