New Memeber, seeking advice, friends

Hello, my husband and I are new here. I wanted to quickly introduce ourselves. My name is Amanda and he is Barry. We've been together going on 5 years. We ve a total of 4 kids, 2 together and 2 with my ex husband that Barry has now adopted.

I'm not quite sure how everything works here, I'm looking for a workers comp section.. to possibly vent, exchange stories, and basically just allow us to get things off our chest.

July 9, 2013 Barry was involved in a very bad 18 wheeler accident. He had be a local truck driver for the last 3 years. He came off the road to be with us.

Well on the morning of July 9, to avoid hitting a car that was coming head on at him, he moved over, causing the loaded 80,000 lb trailer to slide off an embankment which cause the trailer and truck to flip over. The car neber stopped, never called 911. he laid there unconcious for almost an hour EMS guessed.

To make a long, very long, story short... He sustained a Grade Level 3 concusion, fractured shoulder, an orbital fracture to the right eye, fractured spine, fractured left knee, among many other injuries.
15 months later, the only thing that has been taken care of is the orbital fracture. Workers comp has put us through a NIGHTMARE! my husband now suffers from chronic PTSD, anxiety, panic disorder, mood swings, anger issues, bipolar disorder & who knows what else.

I really need someone to talk to about everything that has went on and what is going on. Ive read several threads about the nightmare of a time they have had with workers comp. We both just need a friend. Were about to lose everything weve both worked so hard for and I need to know there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Could someone please point me in the right direction?

If your claim/case is till active , be careful of posting too many details like names & dates, locations etc.. , sometimes they do searches for costly claims..

We have quite a few forums that will fit for all you mention...
I'll just post the link to the index list and you can find ones that seem to fit for you best..
