confused

I am sitting here waiting for the transport vehicle to take me to Physical Therapy for my shoulder. My reg Dr. sent me to an ortho Dr. as surgery may be required. We're kinda checkin out P.T. first. I fell on that shoulder on the cement outside. I do fall occasionally as one leg has got sucked up after a fall that broke my pelvis. I do have an elevated shoe on the left.
I dread going because I'm so depressed about the zaps starting up in my face.

I have no idea why as I have no trigeminal nerve
as it's been cut. I have had Anesthesia Delorosa for about six yrs. I have pain 24/7 but no electric feeling shocks as this is.
I have had my head opened three times and I realize that another surgery is out of the question. First of all I am scared of where these zaps are going. They have been relatively small until last night when a BIG one shot through my face. Why? This is basically what I went through when I did Have T.N.(I hope this doesn't get as rough. Take care, Doodle bug7

I wish I could report that everything has eased up, but not the case. I am having at least 40 to 50 shocks a day. I am putting ice on my face and feel today like I just want to give up. It is so miserable.

Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. As you are an ice person (like myself) have you tried ice blocks (ice lollys? do you know what I mean, we all have different names for things!) I sometimes find that it introduces the ice from the inside so to speak. Obviously care is of the utmost importance here in order to not touch trigger points, but it does work. When this idea was intro'd to me from another sufferer, I immediately thought "no way" but I persevered with it. Take care, wishing you better days.:grouphug:
