I have often considered suggesting we get together and raise funds to fund our own research, without any interference from big Pharma, on topics we could agree were worthwhile.

Listen to Case Notes on Radio 4 on Tuesday 13th February at 9.00 pm repeated on Valentine’s Day at 4.30 pm. Mr and Mrs Tom Isaacs are interviewed, discussing living with Parkinson’s disease. Tom was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 12 years ago at the age of 27. He has since gone on to co-found The Cure Parkinson’s Trust, which is dedicated to finding a cure for this debilitating neurological disease. Lyndsey Isaacs is a nurse and a highly successful natural therapist and acupuncturist, with personal understanding of the disease.
