Medical Mysteries

Can a doctor who claims that "it won't hurt a bit" be sued for malpractice?

When a doctor gets sick, who does he call? Does he take 2 aspirin and
call himself in the morning?

Are recreational therapists all play and no work?

Do psychologists and psychiatrists ever have a meeting of the minds?

Do neurologists and neurosurgeons ever go head to head?

Do optometrists and opthalmalogists ever see eye to eye?

And, did you notice:

Anyone who has ever gone to the doctor knows why they call it,
the "waiting room".

Trying to convice someone to go to the dentist is like pulling teeth.

Dentists will fill a cavity in your teeth...and then put a cavity in your
bank account.

Cardiologists get right to the heart of the matter.

Proctology is the only medical profession where the doctor starts
at the bottom...and stays there.

Podiatrists always try to get off on the right foot with their patients.

Dermatologists can really get under your skin.

A short-tempered doctor probably doesn't have a lot of patients.

Physical therapists will give you a real workout...and then they have
the never to ask you how you feel.

Everybody knows that hospital food is terrible...unless, of course,
you're eating in the cafeteria.
