Spinal tap and nerve biopsy in route..

Well,
They can't seem to figure out what in the world is wrong with me, and I'm losing my ability to walk. (foot drop)

Its relapsing-remitting whatever, because I do notice it goes away and I seem to get better, but then I get worse again.

My nerve damage type is axonal/demyelinating.
Sensory greater than motor.

I honestly hope that something shows in the spinal so I can not do the nerve biopsy.
But I will do what I need to do..
I'm young, and this shouldn't be my life.

We've ruled out a lot..
And at this point I feel like I'm at a loss.

I won't stand for "ideopathic" when I may wind up in a damn wheelchair!
Not when I am in my early 20's!
No.

My next neuro appt. is the 16th.. this is neuro number 3.
She seems like an idiot, but whatever.
At least its local.

I could go back to Rochester MN, but its 3 hours away.
Sorry for the vent..

:(

My sympathies.... (also in my 20's here). I hope they find an answer for you!
