Anybody watching baseball?

I do not like my local team because of the owners.

I only watch baseball once a year -- Playoffs and World Series.

Problem for this year: I do not know if I can get behind the
Astros or the Yankees.
I have a general a dislike of the Yankees. So I guess Astros it is.

I used to be a HUGE, like watch EVERY GAME, baseball fan, but I gave it up to get onto a regular sleep cycle. I don't think I watched a single game all year.

I haven't watched any of the playoffs either.

I'm a Boston girl, so I hate the Yankees, too :D

I can't get channels that you get baseball on.

So I've been watching the net to see how things are going.

Would have loved to see just one Cubs game on tv.

My Mom and Dad like baseball, so it is something we can talk about
together on the phone.

Some seasons I really only watch two or three games at the end of the season --- in the
play offs or the World Season but the ones I watch I enjoy.

Hi,

The series is 1/1 Astros and Dodgers.

I only watched the last game but it was a good one -- four hour game that went into the 11th inning.

Baseball games are so long (I know that one went into extra innings tho). I know that they have made a few adjustments to the rules to try to adjust for that, but watching a baseball game is really a pretty big time investment.

So true. The changes they made to the rules are so minimal -- might not
make a difference at all. I think I read that next year there could be a second set of rules that make more of a difference --- not sure.

I only watch sports once a year -- during the World Series and
I often watch only about half of those games.

(Otherwise I really do not have the patience for the stuff around sports
. . . such as some of the announcers and the stuff tv does for the local fans, . . . . . ).
