Managing stress before it gets you....
Good article. I think a lot of women can agree that when they are under a lot of stress, it seems like their PMS is 10x worse, which only makes them more stressed out. It happens to me all the time.
Keeping your stress levels low takes an active effort for most people. Some are lucky enough that they are just naturally always carefree, but I think most people aren't like that. I think it's important to be vigilant about your state of mine and stress levels: be aware of how you're feeling and trying your best to nip any negativity in the bud, before it spirals out of control. It's like weight control. When you notice your clothes feeling snugger than normal, that's when you take action (like eating better & exercising more) to keep them from getting any tighter. Don't go out and buy bigger sizes (that's like treating the symptoms without addressing the root cause).
